Over 1,000 products from 350 producers in all Swiss cantons will be competing. Measure yourself against Switzerland's finest products and engage in a unique dialogue with a public committed to the cause of farmers, breeders and producers of exceptional flavors.
For its 11th edition, the Marché & Concours Suisse des produits du terroir maintains the same objective: to encourage excellence! Producers are invited not only to exhibit their products at the traditional competition, but also to set up a stand at a major Swiss terroir market, which will tantalize the taste buds of some 15,000 visitors.
The big market and Swiss competition of local products is THE place where consumers meet the Swiss producers participating in the competition. High-quality products, a festival of taste, this market, open to all, presents and markets the best of Switzerland for two days.

At a time when consumers are asking for products with real added value, in terms of taste as well as of manufacture, the Interjurassian Rural Foundation has initiated a special event to enhance the various local food products of Switzerland.
The purpose of the Swiss competition of local food products is to establish an opportunity for direct contact between producers and consumers.
15,000 people in 2017... Amateurs of local products are offered the opportunity to meet more than 100 producers at a large-scale exhibition market. Set in a pleasant green environment, this market will be a rendez-vous for all gourmets, allowing them to stroll at leisure from stand to stand, and to discover the flavors of Swiss local and regional products.

The Innovation Award was presented for the second time at the 11th edition of the Swiss Regional Products Competition. It is awarded to products whose ingredients, manufacturing process and social benefits (sustainability, ethics and nutritional physiology) constitute an innovation for regional products. An expert jury determines the nominees and awards a single Innovation Prize in all categories.

The International Network of Competitions aims to bring together actors from different countries involved in the implementation, organization and implementation of National Competitions of local products. It aims to promote exchanges between the different countries in order to ensure the improvement of the income of farmers and/or producers operating at the level of production, processing and valorization of local products.
